The Domestic Electrical Installer / Engineer Course

There remains a significant need for skilled and qualified individuals to fill this gap. As a trained electrical installer, you could choose to work for a contractor or be your own boss.
Whether your preference is to be employed or self-employed, the opportunities are considerable. Average salaries for qualified electrical installation engineers range from £25000 - £40000, with London and the South East allowing even greater potential.
The full course is divided into a total of four sections to help you absorb the theory you will need easily – it is also designed to present the content in logical sequence so that you can build your knowledge and skills progressively. Each section precedes your practical week(s) of attendance.
The contents of section one will provide you with a thorough grounding in basic electrical principles and technologies and fully covers the content of the six fully certificated outcomes you will achieve under the Domestic Electrical Installer Programme (sections 1-3) it is also an essential starting point for those who choose to progress onto the Electrical Installation Engineer Course option (sections 1-4) which boasts no fewer than ten outcome qualifications culminating in the achievement of the City & Guilds 2356 NVQ Level 3 certificate in Electrical Installation.
